"WHEREAS the UNM Staff Council has determined that the environs of the University are proper concerns of the Staff Council, THEREFORE, be it resolved that, the Staff Council this 18th day of November 2003, hereby creates a standing Environs Committee. The committee shall have as its mission and goal to address issues concerning safety, physical appearance and conditions of the workplace. Membership on the committee shall be as provided for in the Staff Council By-Laws."
The environs committee meets the first Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m. in Room 352, Hakona Hall
